The calendar of The Hundred Kingdoms is based off of the Imperial calendar of the Empire of Nerath and starts with the crowning of the first Emperor, Aurelius I. The current year is 1106 IR (Imperial Reckoning).
The year is 365 days long, with 12 months of 30 days each and 5 intercalary day, one at each equinox and solstice and one at the end of the year. The year begins on the spring equinox, which means that two intercalary days fall together, one at the end of the year, just passing and one at the beginning of the new year.
